AIRPORT: Denver International – free shuttle to Hotel
ALCOHOL/SMOKING: Alcoholic
beverages are not permitted in or around the show hall. Smoking in
the show hall or vending area is not permitted. Smoking is allowed
in designated areas of the Hotel or outside only.
AWARDS: Top 10 format descending
to Top 5 according to TICA Rules, and depending on number of cats
competing in the show, will be scored for Regional and International
Awards.;
BENCHING: Every effort will be
made to comply with benching requests. However, the Club cannot
guarantee it will be able to honor every benching request. One
request only please. DO NOT rearrange benching. NO cats/kittens may
be left in the Show Hall overnight.
CAGES: This is a “Bring Your Own
Cage” show. Each entry will be given a 36” space to bench in. One
cat or two kittens are allowed per single cage. If your cage is
larger than 36” wide you will need to purchase a grooming space to
accommodate your cage. We will have “Pop Up” tents available for
purchase at $20 to exhibitors, which they will keep. There is a link

CAT SUPPLIES: Cat litter will be
provided. Please bring your own litter pans and cat food.
CHECK IN/SHOW HOURS: Check in
Saturday is 7:30 am – 8:30 am. Judging will start promptly at 9:00
am. Exhibitors that are not present at the start of judging will be
marked absent until they arrive. Advertised show hours for the
public are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on Saturday and 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on
Sunday. All cats MUST be present during the advertised show hours
unless special permission to leave early is granted by the Show
Manager.
CLERKS/STEWARDS: Certified Ring
Clerks will earn $40 and lunch per day, and a marked catalog.
Uncertified clerks will earn $30 and lunch per day and a marked
catalog. Stewards will earn $15 per day plus lunch. Please indicate
your availability on your summary sheet. Do not deduct your pay from
your entry fees. You will be paid at the show.
CLOSING DATES: ALL CLOSING DATES
GIVEN ARE ABSOLUTE, NO EXCEPTIONS! There will be no late
entries.
COURTESY: All exhibitors are
respectfully requested to observe common courtesy and keep their
immediate benching areas clean and neat. Keep aisles clear so
exhibitors can get to and from the rings easily. Exhibitors carrying
cats have right of way! Be SURE to dispose of any odorous matter
produced by your cat in an expedient, sanitary, and non-offensive
manner. Be a good participant. While in the Ring Area, do not talk
loudly, do not make comments, either positive or negative, about a
cat and be HAPPY for all winners! HAVE FUN!!!
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS/FEES: An
official entry form or facsimile must be used for each entry and
submitted with a completed summary sheet & full payment in US
funds. USPS, fax, and online entries will be accepted and are
considered binding whether entry is benched or not. Cats co-owned by
members of different households are eligible for the “second and
additional” discounts only if a copy of the TICA registration
showing the names of both co-owners is sent. All kittens in
competition must be 4 calendar months old. All adults in competition
must be 8 calendar months old. All Adult HHP's MUST be
spayed/neutered. Please have your spay/neuter records available. Per
TICA rules, cats do not have to be registered to be shown in one
show; however, unregistered cats do not earn points or titles.
Online entries will be officially entered when payment is received,
which should be no more than 5 working days of submittal. Cats will
not be benched unless fees are paid. No post-dated checks will be
accepted! Late payments at the door will incur a $20 charge.
Returned checks will be assessed a $25 charge plus the original
amount of the check.
EXHIBITION ONLY/FOR SALE CATS: Are
available ONLY to exhibitors showing other cats/kittens. An entry
form must be submitted for each cat in the show hall, even those
that are “Exhibition Only/For Sale” and they must have a catalog
number (whether they are named as yet or not). The Club reserves the
right to cancel any of the above entries to make room for competing
entries. Mark each entry form “Exhibition Only/For Sale” across the
top of the entry form. Kittens must be a minimum of 3 months old to
be in the show hall. Kittens for sale MUST be litter registered and
proof of age MUST be available to the Club. Kittens or cats may NOT
be confined to carriers, either displayed or under the bench, during
show hours.
FOOD: BREAKFAST AND
LUNCH will be available for purchase at the Show Hall both
Saturday and Sunday.
HEALTH RULES: This is a non-vetted
show. All cats MUST be fully immunized and tested negative for
Feline Leukemia. All entries MUST be free of any communicable
disease including, but not restricted to, fungus, fleas, and ear
mites. Exhibitors of cats suspected to be ill or pregnant (as
determined by the Show Committee) will be asked to leave the show
hall with ALL their entries with NO refunds being made. It is
advised that all cats be bathed and groomed prior to benching. All
nails MUST be clipped prior to benching.
LIABILITY: All participants agree
to hold Colorado Cats Inc., TICA, and the Holiday Inn, harmless
from injury, loss, or damage to cats, exhibitors, or property of
exhibitors or vendors, or other such persons in
attendance.
MISCELLANEOUS: For the safety of
our exhibitors, their cats, and spectators, NO kittens/cats may be
allowed "on leash" in or around the show hall at any time. Per TICA
Show Rules - Article 10 - Responsibilities of Exhibitors (210.3):
Exhibitors shall not sit (or stand) in the ring area holding cats
prior to or during judging except with the explicit permission of
the Judge; these rules will be STRICTLY enforced!
